TRENT REZNOR and NIN Knows What the F is Up with record companies
Trent Reznor knows what he is fuckin doing. Period.
Radiohead comes out with In Rainbows and lets fans pay what they want for it.
so Trent says, fuck it.... I will make not one (I) but four (IV) GHOSTS.

I just downloaded it (the new CD) from Amazon.com for five USD because the NIN site was down due to extremely high traffic loads.
FROM Ghosts II - track 14, I really recommend. My favorite so far is that one.
NIN is saying ef u to the record companies. Radiohead already did. Who is next?

God! Why are Apple commercial songs so catchy?
For those wondering what song Apple decided to use in their new MacBook Air commercial:
It is New Soul by Yael Naim. Apple knows brand management. I just don't understand how they manage to pick such a catchy tune every time... does Steve Jobs keep track of the underground music scene?
In case you forgot what the commercial was: (hint: a laptop fits in a freakin envelop)

A fascinating video and slight synchronicity
This is a strange follow-up, but here is a video that used the same modeselektor song that I posted as an mp3 last post. It is being used as the theme music for this video here. (This is where the synchronicity ends.)
Unfortunately, I cannot grab that video from firstborn's flash site, so here is another video of the same software in action, but with different techno music that is equally interesting, but not as hyped as Modeselektor. (repetition is key for hype folks)
The video shows what the future of what infotainment will be. It uses live images being taken around the world and mashes them into a software program that turns them into larger images, so each individual portrait makes up the whole.
In their own words: (it is a freakin flash site so no quotes for you! sorry!)
enjoy the vid kids, don't stay up too late wondering if microsoft is going to invade your household with cameras and cool software, chances are they already have.

Songs in My Head Right Now - Modeselektor and More
Ok, here are some songs that are in my head right now. This is my first post with MP3's, so bare with me. (yes I spelled it wrong on purpose)
MODESELEKTOR
I discovered Modeselektor back in November 2007 during one of my very strange introspective periods. Their beats brought me back to beatastic reality.
Modeselektor - The White Flash (Featuring Thom Yorke)
HOCKEY NIGHT
I found Hockey Night through elbo.ws at random one lonely night back in April 2007.
Hockey Night - This Peaceful Year
Hope you enjoyed the tunes. Don't forget to subscribe to the rss feed below so you don't miss a beat.

This is it.
Well this is it, my brand new shiny music blog. The impetus behind creating this is my desire to spread my musical beliefs to the masses. I want your ears to bleed, and I want you to like that they are bleeding. Plus, I am sick of my mother telling me that there is no good music anymore.
That being said, this post will contain no music. Stay tuned for more coming.
